Fire OG is an indica dominant hybrid (70% indica/30% sativa) strain that is a potent cross between the hugely popular OG Kush X San Fernando Valley OG Kush. This dank bud is said to be the most powerful of the OG Kush family and boasts an insanely high THC level ranging from 20-25% on average.
OG Kush makes up the genetic backbone of West Coast cannabis varieties, but in spite of its ubiquity, its genetic origins remain a mystery. This famed strain arrived in Los Angeles in 1995 after being transplant coast-to-coast from Florida by its original propagators (now known as Imperial Genetics), along with “The Bubba,” which gave way to Bubba Kush.
Cleverly referred to as WiFi OG, this strain is a 60% sativa hybrid with mostly cerebral effects. It takes the absolute best from its parents: a sour earthiness with a bit of diesel from Fire OG and the dusty crystal covering of The White. There are a number of phenotypes with this strain – some have very dense almost barrel-like buds while others are more cone shaped. The Mango Kush marijuana strain tastes similar to the actual mango fruit, with a distinct kush flavor and hints of pine on the exhale. Its buds are covered with orange pistils and are described as very dense. The plant has an average growth height of 4-5 feet.
